Drawing I

The course focuses on development of perceptual and technical skills in drawing. Using dry media, it includes line, shape, proportion, value, and composition in the representation of still life and other subject matter.

The course starts with simple 3D line works and shapes, using graphite pencils. Then, students learn to use different types of charcoals to make volumes without lines. the practices were done either on drawing paper or toned paper.
