Color Theory and Practice

The course deals with principles, theories, and applications of subtractive color in two dimentions. It investigates various aspects of color, color theories, color symbolism, psychology of color, physiology of color, history of color, expressive aspects of color, nature's use of color and includes practical lab experience in mixing color, matching colors, and color analysis

Topics include major historical and contemporary color systems, production of applied color, and the elements of design as they apply to color.
